Parelec’s OPR optical reader delivers low-cost, high-accuracy optical location to within 1 foot. The OPR readers are installed above the monitored area and transmit tag location data to the central iLocate(tm) server in real-time.
Unlike traditional RF based RTLS readers, where at least three readers are required to produce tag location information, a single OPR reader will do the job, delivering high-accuracy Smart Agent tag position.
With unit costs at about 20% of the price of typical RF RTLS readers and with a dramatically lower infrastructure density, the OPR readers deliver a cost-effective solution with incomparable accuracy performance.
