The PBC unit is an iLocate(tm) independent RF beaconing device.
The PBC is a stand-alone device (no infrastructure connectivity required), which continuously transmits its unique ID over the air.
Thanks to the combination of low cost, low maintenance and small size, the PBC device is a unique and attractive solution for large environments monitoring and positioning where low to medium accuracy is sufficient. The PBC units are fully compatible with the iLocate(tm) high accuracy optical solution and may be integrated as a complement for very high accuracy positioning environments.
The PBC zone size and thus the location accuracy is flexible, ranging from a minimum of three meters to a maximum of 200 meters maximal range.
Accessories include directional antennas and different mounting kits. |
